Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join our dynamic team at Synapse Marketing Consultancy Pvt Ltd. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Marketing with a proven track record in driving business growth, expanding market share, and developing strategic partnerships. The role requires a deep understanding of the healthcare/pharma market dynamics and the ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development Strategy & Execution:
o Develop and execute business development strategies to drive revenue and market expansion for healthcare/pharma brand teams and marketing departments.
o Capitalize on existing relationships with brand teams to assist in crafting communication and creative strategies, ultimately helping build and elevate their brands. - Market Identification & Trend Analysis:
o Identify and explore new business opportunities, market trends, and potential clients within the healthcare and pharmaceutical sectors.
o Stay up-to-date with the latest industry developments, leveraging insights to introduce innovative solutions to clients. - Relationship Building with Key Stakeholders:
o Build and maintain long-term, trusted relationships with marketing heads, brand managers, and other leadership teams within pharma and healthcare organizations.
o Foster collaboration with senior-level professionals, stakeholders, and decision-makers to develop and maintain strategic business partnerships. - Client Engagement & Support:
o Work closely with marketing professionals to provide them with strategic guidance, including brand positioning, creative marketing strategies, and
communication tactics.
o Offer value-added services to clients, positioning the company as a trusted partner in their growth journey. - Sales Performance & Revenue Generation:
o Drive sales performance and consistently meet or exceed revenue targets through the acquisition of new clients and retention of existing clients.
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., marketing, operations, and product development) to deliver integrated solutions that align with client needs. - Negotiations & Contract Management:
o Lead negotiations, presentations, and contract management, ensuring that
business terms meet client expectations and align with company goals. - Reporting & Analysis:
o Provide regular performance updates to senior management, tracking key
metrics, and refining business strategies based on results.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience: Minimum 5-8 years of experience in business development, sales, or marketing within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry.
- Education: A degree in Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. MBA is a plus.
- Skills:
o Strong understanding of healthcare/pharma marketing, including regulatory and compliance knowledge.
o Proven experience in driving business growth and achieving sales targets in a competitive market.
o Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
o Ability to build and nurture long-term client relationships.
o Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify opportunities through market analysis and data.
